Tests in Dairy Ruminants

The consumption of Sparta RUM INNOLIVE from sheep, goats and dairy cows showed that there was a significant reduction in the number of somatic cells in the milk produced. Somatic cells are an indicator of an infection of the mammary gland of the animal and above a certain limit suggesting that the animal is suffering from mastitis.

• It also causes a significant increase (≈20%) in polyphenols, drastically improving the animal's immune defense.
• Experimentally but also in normal cow diet there was a zero drop in the quantity of milk produced during the summer period when the animals are under stress.
• In addition, it was observed that the animals come to an oestrus earlier and respectively fertilization is achieved earlier.

Tests in Ruminants for Meat Production

After research into small farm calves in Sparta, enriching the ration with Sparta RUM INNOLIVE, the following benefits were gained:

• The meat produced showed much more polyphenols (control group 46.9 mg / Kg - test group 197.5 mg / Kg), which have beneficial effects on the health of animals and humans fed by them, especially protecting against cardiovascular problems.
• It improves the organoleptic characteristics of the meat by giving a special pleasant taste, odor and aftertaste to the veal.
• This type of beef is ideal for creating a differentiated product giving added value to the finished product.
