Sparta FIBERFEED is a herbal product with a characteristic oily and dark green color, rich in fiber, with a much higher content than traditional sources of cellulose (such as bran, sugar cane pulp) and used as a feed additive in a percentage ~ 5% of the total feed on a daily basis.
It is characterized by homogeneity and is free from pathogenic micro-organisms. It is suitable for sowing sows during the dry season and lactation.
Sparta FIBERFEED helps feed the sows as:
- It causes a faster sense of saturation in the animal due to the presence of high fiber plant fibers.
- Improves food preservation as polyphenols offer antioxidant activity and inhibit the growth of microorganisms.
- It contributes to the correct functioning of the digestive system through the proper functioning of the gastrointestinal tract.
- Prevents oxidative stress due to the presence of a high percentage of polyphenols contributing to the proper functioning of the animal's immune system.

Tests in Sows
Following a series of tests carried out in large and modern pig farms in collaboration with TEI of Larissa and Agricultural University of Athens, the following advantages have been obtained from the use of Sparta Fiberfeed in Sows during the period of dry season:
- It was observed that the sows were satiated faster than feeding the usual feed.
- Combined with the introduction of Sparta Innolive into their feed, during the rest of the dry season, animal health was improved due to increased polyphenols.
- No food oxidation (growth of microorganisms) was observed as is the case with conventional high-nutrient feeds due to the antioxidant action of polyphenols.
- The digestive function of the sows was smooth due to better gastrointestinal function.
